Ray Humphreys

Ray Humphreys is the Dart Estuary Officer
(DEO). He acts as a central co-ordinator to implement the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) through his liaison with members of the Steering Committee and the Dart Forum.

Ray Humphreys has spent virtually all his working life involved in marine matters in one form or another. A graduate of Britannia Royal Naval College in Dartmouth, he went on to spend almost a decade sailing yachts throughout the world, returning to England to study first Oceanography, then as a post-graduate, Hydrography. He worked as a commercial hydrographer, initially in the marine offshore industry.

He moved into the sector of marine pollution and environmental protection where he eventually became the Divisional Manager of an international company specialising in marine environmental work before taking up the position at Dart Estuary Environmental Management (DEEM).

Erica Anderson

Erica Anderson works part-time to provide a range of administrative skills to back up DEEM's projects. A graduate in Human Ecology, Erica also brings over 16 years experience in publishing and community projects to her role her at DEEM. She produces our newsletter, Tidelines, and compiles the content for this website.
